Malcolm is the James J. Hill Professor, Emeritus, at the Harvard Business School. Since joining the HBS faculty in 1967, his teaching and research focused on issues of corporate strategy and governance. From 1986 to 2006, he also served as president of Mars & Co., a strategy-consulting firm with offices in Greenwich, London, Paris, San Francisco, Tokyo, and Shanghai. Malcolm is a graduate of Harvard University where he received A.B., M.B.A. and D.B.A. degrees. Malcolm is a Trustee of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
